Canada Health Net at Canadian Cleaning Conference 2018

On June 21, 2018 Canada Health Net participated at the Canadian Cleaning Conference, which united over 100 of Ontario’s leading BSC’s, hospitals, hotels, educational facilities, restaurants, manufacturers, property managers, and more. The event was held at The Toronto Congress Centre.

“We are at a very interesting conference. Its focus is around innovation and sustainability in the cleaning industry. It’s very unique because at the end of the day this industry makes a huge impact on our environment”, says Julia Novik, founder of Canada Health Net and one of the exhibitors.

According to the organizers, the Canadian Cleaning Conference was a full day, live in-person expo dedicated to connecting cleaning personnel with cutting-edge innovation strategies, breakthrough ideas and meaningful relationships to help support businesses and communities as well as improving efficiencies, reducing costs and improving environmental positions.

​”We’re seeing lots of lots of innovative products, how to clean toxic-free environments. There are interesting companies that are coming out with new technologies and innovation. And we find that as Lean practitioners we’re always out looking for new innovative ways of improving your businesses, and innovative cleaning technologies are one of those areas,” Julia Novik continues.

It was an intimate and unique experience for healthcare and environmental leaders seeking actionable strategies and deep connections for real and immediate impact. The purpose of the event was to teach how to enlighten teams and strengthen their sustainability.

“One of the reasons why we decided to join Canadian Cleaning Conference is because we work in healthcare a lot. And we see in healthcare cleaning and infection control is extremely important. There’s a lot of high risk of infection and bacteria that we see as outbreaks in hospitals and various healthcare facilities. And being a part of this innovative cleaning conference we are seeing new innovations such as surface bacteria cleaning and surgical cleaning, all kinds of other cleaning technologies and systems, that can help us to bring innovation into a healthcare system,” Julia adds.

Canadian Cleaning Conference gathered 100 vendors, 12 speakers, 600+ delegates and impactful presentations on sustainability and cleaning.
